Filas de colores en Stringgrid

estado mirando y prueba esto a ver que tal

 StringGrid1.Canvas.Brush.Color := clblue;
 StringGrid1.Canvas.Font.Color := clHighlightText;
 StringGrid1.Canvas.TextRect(Rect, Rect.Left + 2, Rect.Top + 2, StringGrid1.Cells[acol,arow]);
 end;
end;

Saltate el fill rect, y ponle el textrect,. y dale el color que quieres en el font del canvas
