Ya se podía con D2005 y D2006 pero el meollo del asunto no es si se puedo o no se puede si no que solo podemos utilizar el .Net 2.0
Y no tenemos acceso a todo lo nuevo que trae .Net 3.x y los demás que vengan porque creo que el famoso Wayne de Embarcadero lo expuso mejor y sito aquí su respuesta.

Hay alguna mención de .NET ? NO
Y si deseas mas pruebas podemos ver el RoadMap donde por lo menos de aquí hasta el 2009 no se menciona Delphi.Net.
Pero como lo indico es mi interpretación.
