Si compras el producto hoy y quieres recibir un parche que saquen si no tienes mantenimiento, no puedes.
Es decir que durante ese año NO tienes derecho a parches de tu producto.
Te reproduzco un comentario de un usuario (jerome shidel) en Facebook de delphi developer:
I just received an email from Embarcadero. It stated that it is highly likely that starting 3/1/16 all license purchases will require an "Update Subscription." This is very irritating. So, now they are going to charge an extra $500 for my upgrade (Pro+Mobile). Right now, you can upgrade without it, but will receive ZERO bug fix releases. I am really starting to feel raked over them coals. It just seems like they are releasing pay for versions faster and faster. Now, forcing us to pay for point release updates as well. I am seriously thinking of placing all Pascal development on hold indefinitely. Until, I can spend the time to get Lazarus to do all of the mobile stuff I need.
