1. Instale windows vista beta 2 build 5384
2. Instale Interbase 6.5 como administrador (Run as administrator)

Problema:
No logro hacer que interbase este corriendo con el user normal, y que acepte conexiones locales.

Reviso Interbase Server Manager y dice Startup Mode = Manual
Status = Stopped.

Lo trato de inicializar aqui y me dice:
Unable to start the server: Access is denied.

Lo intento como administrador (Run As Adminitrator), y me dice que esta:
Startup Mode = Automatic
Status = Running

pero aun asi no puedo iniciar la aplicación ni corriendola como administrador (Run As Administrator)

Revise los servicios y esta asi:

Name Staus Starup Type
Interbase Guardian Automatic
Interbase Server Started Manual

EL interbase Guardian no esta "Started" asi que lo inicializo.
al intentar esto marca error:
Windows could not start the Interbase Guardian service on Local Computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.

Le doy OK y vuelvo a intentarlo, y entonces si se inicia.

Trato de abrir la aplicacion y no inicia, al parecer no hay conexion aun.

Entonces le doy Start > All Programs > Interbase > IBConsole
Registro el Local Server
y me dice:
The Server has not been started. Would you like to start it now?

le digo que si por supuesto (Yes) y se pone el icono en el systray del Interbase Server y listo ya puedo iniciar mi aplicación.

Pero como hago para que desde el inicio, el server este corriendo? :S
