Configurar BDE INTERBASE/FIREBIRD DIALECTO 3

Se puede configurar el bde para que acepte el dialecto 3 de interbase/Firebird , ?Como se Haria

Si q se puede, cambiando una clave en el registro de windows, de lo q no estoy seguro es donde he leido esa clave, o bien en el archivo install.txt o bien en readme.txt q sen encuentran en la carpeta $Delphi de la version 7..

To use the new InterBase 6.5 Dialect 3 features in BDE,
add an entry to your Windows registry under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\Database Engine
\Settings\Drivers\Intrbase\Db Open\SQLDIALECT

and set the String Value to "3".

When an InterBase alias is created, the new entry will
be available in the .CFG file.

To use InterBase 5.6, SQLDIALECT can be set to "1"
(existing IB aliases which do not have the SQLDIALECT
entry default to SQLDIALECT=1 or to the registry
setting when the SQLDIALECT entry is added to the
registry).
